Who I am
Hello, I’m Becky and I’m passionate about exhibitions, interpretation and making meaningful connections.
I’m an experienced museums and public engagement professional. Working in the sector for over 15 years I’ve delivered large exhibitions, new gallery spaces, created brand new programmes and developed audiences. I’ve learned a lot (and made mistakes!) and I am passionate about sharing this experience with others to create new opportunities, meaningful connections and experiences that make an impact. Whether you have a fully formed project that needs support or a germ of an idea you want to develop, I can help.
In 2021 I was selected to the inaugural cohort of the UK Association of Science and Discovery Centre’s Emerging Leaders Programme. I am currently working towards my Associateship of the Museums Association accreditation. I have supported researchers and other professionals to develop their public engagement skills through various training opportunities, and have spoken at conferences on exhibitions, place-making and audience development. I live near Cambridge with my young family.

Exhibitions
I have a wealth of experience in developing exhibitions, from major shows with national prominence to in-focus displays and creative interventions on a shoestring. I am experienced at working across all RIBA design stages and have a background in exhibition management as well as curation. I can support on particular packages of work, or take hold of the whole project depending on your needs.
Interpretation
Working out the right approaches to sharing your stories and collections to connect with your target audiences is one of the biggest challenges you face, and getting it right can feel like an impossible balancing act. I can work with you to devise an interpretation strategy that works for where you are and where you want to head.
Public Events
I can support you to devise approaches to public programming, from repeat activities and seasons to one-off events. I am experienced in creating programmes from scratch, building audience engagement and repeat interactions.
